Exciting news first, blog candy second. Make It Colourful had a call for DT members to work on special tasks, and they chose me to organize the tips and winners posts. I have been drooling over the work of this fabulous DT since the challenge started. I'm so excited to be part of this fantastic group.
The challenge this week is coloring skies. I used the Fair Carousel from Make It Crafty and a sweet Tilda holding a balloon. Peanut loves carousels and was very excited to see this image. I decided to try something new and colored the sky using Prismapencils. I was inspired by this tutorial by Dorcas. I colored the rest of the carousel and Tilda with Copics. The sentiment expresses my feelings about working on this DT!
Now for the sweet stuff! I have two blog candies today. I promised one to celebrate reaching 150 followers and now I have a double reason to celebrate. You don't have to do anything special to enter (other than clicking on the frog). I'd love it if you became a follower (if you aren't already) or posted on your sidebar, but it's not required. Both drawings are open until April 23rd.
