Peanut and the last of my Halloween cards

Peanut was a purple fairy this year. We had trick-or-treating last night. She asked for "just one more house" for an hour and came home with over 2 pounds of candy. This is the first yer that she really understands what's going on and it's been a lot of fun.
I have two cards to share to finish out my Halloween cards for this year. Time to get out the Christmas supplies!
My first card features a mummy from Robyn's Fetish. This is a freebie for the Halloween Madness party at the I Did It Creations Forum. The tag is a freebie from Sarah Hurley. I made the sentiment with stickers. I've not really done a black and white card before, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
3. Wags and Whiskers #37 - black and white

My second card features an image from Simply Betty. I
colored the image with my usual assortment of markers and used a simple card layout to highlight the image.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Pixie Dust #46 - Happy Halloween
2. AI Factory - Halloween
3. Anything Goes #22 - Halloween

Don't forget my blog candy!

IDIC Forum Halloween Madness Crop - first two projects

I'm having a great time at the IDIC Forum crop. We've made two projects so far and I thought I would share them. I'm not sure how long I'm going to make it up.

Our first project was a matchbook candy holder. I used a double sided sheet of Basic Grey. This is the front side. The images are from my stash. I stamped them a while ago and didn't write down where I stamped them from. The one with the hippo is for my brother-in-law to hold his gift card for Christmas.
Here's the inside. The sentiment is from a Cardmaking and Papercraft freebie. It turns out these will also hold gift cards, so I'm adding them to my Christmas pile.
I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:
1. Cards for Men #22 - anything goes
2. Bah! Humbug! #42 - presents - I'm not sure if these count, but they are presents.
3. Crafts and Me #16 - make a Christmas gift

Our second project was to make a card using a freebie provided by Robyn - this sweet scarecrow. I got out my DCWV fall stacks and went to town. Here's the front:
Here's the inside:
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Papertake Weekly Challenge - sparkly and bright
2. Crafty Creations #91 - Halloween or perhaps autumn
3. Polka Doodles #43 - autumn

Don't forget my blog candy!

Anya and Cheeky Rockabilly

After a busy week at work, I'm so happy to be back in the craft room. Peanut and I made a cake for DH's birthday this morning. Then, DH took Peanut to the park this morning, so I'm hanging out and crafting. This is my plan for the day, along with celebrating DH's birthday and sending Peanut for trick-or-treating with DH. Busy weekend!

I decided to play with some new-to-me Greeting Farm stamps to start with this morning. I have Cowgirl Anya. I colored her with my usual assortment of markers. I added pink glitter glue to her hat and belt buckle. I used pink glitter chalk on the edge of the image. The papers are from my stash - actually starting to use up some scraps.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. The Greeting Farm Farm Fresh Friday - cheeky color challenge
3. Simon Says on PCP #10 - buttons galore
4. ABC Challenge - G is for glitter - I'd love a glitter cowboy hat like this!
5. Stamp Something - Something with pink

My second card features Cheeky Rockabilly (have you seen the new Cheeky Xmas?). I sorted my embellishments last weekend and realized that I had a ton of purple, so I wanted to start using some of them. I colored the image using Copics and chalked and glittered around the edge. The papers are all from DCWV. The sentiment is from my Everyday Sentiments - Circles. I added a purple Prima flower from my stash.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
2. One Stop Craft Challenge #104- Anything Goes - It's One Stop's Second Birthday and they're having a blog hop and extra special challenge!
3. wee Memories #29 - anything goes

My First Sweet Nellie

I've been drooling over Sugar Nellie stamps since I happened across their blog a few months ago. I finally broke down and ordered some.

I colored this sweet girl using Copics. The paper is Basic Grey - I love the plaid.
This card is another installment in my gift card holder series : ) I used the leftover paper from the front of my card.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. The Sugar Bowl #46 - sketch - I missed the optional theme until after I'd made the card :(
2. Winter Wonderland - recipe challenge - 2 papers, 1 ribbon, 1 snowflake, and 1 charm - I think I have that on the front of the card. I read this as two patterned papers, so I used a plain red to mount the image and sentiment. I don't know if that counts...

Kellita

(3rd post) The winner of my blog candy is announced here. Stay tuned because I'm planning another one for this weekend to celebrate the I Did I Creations Forum Halloween Madness Party.

This is my third post for today, but my first card. I had a great time at The Stamping Boutique digi day last night and I managed to get cards done while chatting with friends. I love chatting while making cards - makes it much more fun. You'll be seeing a lot of gift card holders in the next two months as we've decided it's going to be a gift card Christmas at our house this year.

This card features Kellita from Lil Lolita Boutique. I used the sketch from Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge #20. I colored her using Copics. I used papers from my stash and chipboard from a Cardmaking and Papercraft freebie. I printed a bunch of Christmas sentiments using fonts from Free Scrapbook Fonts.
This is the inside of the card. I folded the gift card holder using this tutorial. I cut the card that was created using the tutorial in half to mount it inside the card. I added some rose stickers and a smiley face button.

Blog Candy Winner

Hello All! Sorry I'm a little late with this. We went to my sister's horse show this morning and I fell asleep when I got back. There were 19 posts for my blog candy. I used random.org and DH helped me figure out how to paste the picture. Peanut pushed the button.

And the winner is...

Carri - send me an email with your mailing address and I'll send the candy off to you. For the rest, don't despair. I'm going to have another Halloween candy this weekend. Also, I'm sponsoring a prize for the I Did It Creations Forum Halloween Madness Party that will look a lot like this candy. Be sure to check out the party this weekend for fun challenges.

I'm sponsoring my first ever challenge today - Glitterbabe's Challenge! This week the challenge is "Frame It!" and, of course, have glitter and bling. The winner of the challenge will get three digi images and a paper pack from my store.

Peanut and I both used Witch Bear. Peanut colored her image with Crayola markers. She added buttons, sparkly things, and glitter. She's used the green card she mounted the image on to frame the image.

I colored the image with my usual assortment of markers. I found a pre-embossed frame in my stash. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink to age the frame and around the image. I added a flower and ribbon to finish the card.

IDIC Forum Freebie Challenge - Toucan Scraps

This week's freebie challenge at I Did It Creations Forum features these wonderful little confetti boxes from Toucan Scraps. I thought they would be perfect to fill with little candies for a present. The first one is a beautiful red and white box. I added a red prima flower with a pearl center. I made a pink tag with a fairy stamped on one side and Merry Christmas stamped on the other (freebies from Cardmaking and Papercraft).
The second box in the set is this lovely yellow and white striped box. I added an orange flower from Michael's to the front side of the box. I glued an image to a sheet of orange paper from DCWV and added to the reverse side. I added Happy Halloween in stickers.
This is the image side of the box. I used Princess Jennifer Latte the Witch from The Stamping Boutique. I colored her with Copics and Promarkers. This little box with the image stands up on its own and would make a great little gift to leave on someone's desk.
I'd like to enter the Halloween box in the October Challenge - 3D fall/halloween project - at The Latte Lounge.

Kitten with Mittens

I have some news to share before I share my project for today. Stampin' Dragon Designs has created two stamps for The Ear Trust Charity which helps children with hearing problems, with 100% of proceeds going to the charity directly, you can see them here . You can go see what The Ear Trust are all about here.

My project today is the freebie challenge from I Did It Creations Forum. This cute digi is My Mittens by Robyn's Fetish. I colored her with Copics and Promarkers and added glitter to her pocket and mittens (a little hard to see in the photo).

I created a gift tag by gluing the image to pink paper and attaching prima flowers to the top of the tag. The bag is just a plain white gift bag that I've glued a feather boa along the top. I'm really pleased with the way this turned out.

I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:

Halloween Tilda

We had a fun day today with Peanut. It started with a trip to the gym, which she loves because we go to the pool when I'm done exercising. Then lunch out and a visit to Build-A-Bear where she got to build a bear and pick an outfit. We all came home and napped for quite a while after that.

Before I get to my card, I want to tell you about Kathy's Penny Black Blog Candy. She's got beautiful cards to show using the stamps in the prize, too.

I wanted to make a Halloween card with a Tilda, but I don't have any Halloween Tildas. I thought this Charleston Tilda looked like she might have been dressed up. I colored her with Copics with dress in Halloween colors and put glitter on her wings, flower and shoes.

I used Halloween paper that I got at Target. The sentiment is cut from the same paper that is
behind Tilda. I added orange roses and orange pom-pom "ribbon."

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Totally Tilda - Halloween special
2. Just Magnolia #77 - sketch
4. Stampin' for the Weekend - Halloween/Fall
5. Stamp Something - Halloween Somethings

Inspiration from Chanelle

I saw Chanelle's ribbon card at the Anything Goes challenge and I really wanted to try one myself. Here's the front of my card. The paper is Basic Gray and the ribbons are from Target.
Here's the inside of my card. I used 30's Lylah from Lil Lolita. I colored her with my usual assortment of markers in gray tones. I added a place next to her for a message. There is silver skull and crossbones ribbon along the bottom. The pumpkin/skull paisley paper is from Target. It's hard to see but the brad in the upper left has a tiny skull on it; the one on the right is striped.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
2. Crafty Cardmakers - spotlight fancy folds
3. Stamp Scrap and Doodle #10 - Halloween or Fall

Swiftly Changing Seasons

(2nd post) I have two cards tonight. I'm back in my craft room after a weekend trip. I did manage to take my crafting on the road, which is how I made the cards from yesterday and this morning! That was interesting...

My first card is a fall birthday card. I used a Autumn Leaves from Stampin' Dragon Designs and Bentley bear with a happy birthday tag that were a freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft. I colored them with my usual assortment of markers, although I'm leaning more toward Copics. The papers are from DCWV's fall stack. I thought it looked like the wind was blowing the balloons and the leaves and the birthday message.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Charisma Cardz #40 - autumn colours
2. Teddy Stampers #21 - fall colors

My second card takes us into winter. It's still highs in the 80s here, so I'm not quite thinking of snow! I used my SnowLady stamp. I colored her with Copics and added glitter to her flowers and snowy bits. The pale pink paper is from Robyn's Fetish, the green paper is from GCD Studios (it's two sided), and the argyle paper is from my stash.

I tried something new on this card. It doesn't have a fold. I put the sentiment on a tag that goes in a pocket on the front.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
3. Crafty Emma's Challenge #7 - create a tag

Recycled Gift Boxes

These little boxes contained ribbon from Target. I thought they'd make cute little treat boxes. I took the label from the boxes and made a little template and cut it out of cardstock. The stamps are from Penny Black - Holly Jolly Christmas. I love these cute little guys. They're colored with my usual assortment of markers. I added paper from DCWV's Summer Stack to the cardstock. I tied brown ribbon with blue circles and snowflakes around the box to make a present.

I'd like to enter these boxes in the following challenges:
1. ABC Christmas - U is for under the tree - make a gift or gift bag/box
2. Crazy Challenge #35 - Go green recycle - whoops, missed this challenge.
3. Penny Black Saturday #122 - two or more images - I don't know if this counts, but the boxes do go together.
4. City Crafter #25 - Hooray for the holidays
5. Bah! Humbug! #39 - favorite cuties

Jak Heath offered a Halloween sheet with word art.

I combined the image from Simply Betty and word art from I Did It Creations Forum and Jak Heath to create an easel card. I colored the images with my usual assortment of markers. I used papers and ribbon from Target. I made my own ribbon flower.

I found the paper at Target and thought it would be a perfect background for a Halloween card. I didn't think the card needed much else, so I added a Happy Halloween ribbon and left it at that.
