Have you seen the blog hop going on at Simon Says Stamp? Looks like fun with great prizes!I've been playing around a little with the vintage look. I love it on other people's cards, but I'm not sure about how I do it. I started with a wonderful image from Robyn's Fetish. I colored the image with colored pencils and added some papers from my stash. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. I added Tim Holtz distress ink tea dye around the card and over the sentiment. Then I added some glitter chalks to Santa's furry suit and the little girl's coat. I still have a love-hate relationship with the chalks. I finished the card with brown roses in keeping with the vintage theme.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Simon Says Stamp - holidays and September blog hop
2. ABC Christmas - S is for Santa; extra of not red - I used a mahogany pencil for Santa's suit
3. Stampin' for the Weekend #46 - shabby or vintage
