Brownie Bakeoff Week 1

Hi!  I'm playing in the Brownie Bakeoff at Brownie Scraps this month.  It's a month-long template design challenge.  I designed a template for Instagram photos.  You can dowload it for free here.  Please leave a comment in the forum if you download!

Here's the layout that I made using Adventures in Yardwork by Meredith Cardall.

Open House at TCC - Hybrid Challenge

It's finally here! Open House at The Crafter's Cafe! We have a ton of fun planned. There are challenges that start today and will be open all week. We'll have a different game with a prize every day. You can win a door prize just for stopping by and saying hi each day. We have a ton of great sponsors and fabulous prizes! We hope you'll stop by each day for fun and games.

Today, I have my sample cards for the challenges. We have five challenges that start today. I'm going to post each one in a different post. I hope you'll check them all out.

For the So what is hybrid? challenge, Wendy of Wendybird Designs is very generously providing her Treat Tent template for EVERYONE to use for the challenge! Hop over to The Crafter's Cafe to download the template. I made project to give some tasty treats this Christmas. I used digi papers from JLJ Designs (I'm getting out of the designing business, so I don't have a link for them). The template was super easy to use. I finally found a use for some wired fuzzy ribbon I bought a few years ago!

I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:
1. Bunny Zoe's Challenge #19 - fancy folds/shaped cards
2. Prairie Fairy #68 - Holly Jolly Christmas - no red or green

Happy Crafting!

Dracula

Slowly but surely, I'm working my way through my Halloween poem book. This is one side of a two page layout. The poem is on the other page, but I'm waiting for some new green Copics to arrive to finish it.

So, about this page. I used mini Dracula from Make it Crafty on Make it Colour paper with Copics. I'm having a bit of a tiff with my Copics right now, but I'm hoping we can kiss and make up. The papers are from JLJ Designs Zen Digital Paper Pack. Would you believe I found the batty ribbon in my ribbon pile left over from last year and just perfect for this page : )
I'd like to enter my page in the following challenges:
2. Paper Playtime #56 - Halloween
3. Lollipop Crafts #50 - anything goes
4. Partytime Tuesday #35 - anything goes
5. Simon Says - anything goes

Happy Crafting!

JLJ Designs Digi Paper Challenge at The Crafter's Cafe

I'm trying something new this month in the JLJ Designs group at The Crafter's Cafe. We're having a Digi Paper Challenge for the month of September. The challenge this month is Anything Goes, as long as you use digi papers. They don't need to be JLJ Designs Digi Papers to play.

I'm featuring the Stacie Digital Paper Pack this month and it's on sale all month for 25% off! Use the coupon code STACIESEPT2011 to get the discount.
I've made a card using the Stacie Digital Paper Pack combined with Cards Vol 5: Cut Down by Wendybird Designs. Hybrid templates are a great way to use digital papers. I added three digital stamps Monster Dreams and Monster Balloons from Little Miss Muffet Designs and the Birthday Set from The Stamping Boutique. I added the images to the template so this printed out as one sheet of paper.
Here's the inside:
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
2. Totally Gorjuss #95 - as you like it

We hope you'll join us this month for our challenge.

Happy Crafting!
