Happy Anniversary!

(4 of 4) This is my last post for tonight. I had so much fun crafting today. Make sure you come back tomorrow. I have some exciting news!

This challenge came at just the right time. My anniversary is Sunday. Peanut and I made cards for Daddy.

I used the image from Pollycraft. I really love these sweet bears. I used the colors from my wedding - navy blue and pink. I colored the image with colored pencils and added glitter. I made sentiments using Fonts for Peas Pea Aimee. I added some ribbon and a prima flower. The inside says "I'm so glad I married my friend."

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Pollycraft Monday Challenge #54 - Love and Marriage
3. Sarah Hurley Challenge #2 - Anything Goes
4. Crafty Angels #42 - Something old, something new - I used old papers from my stash and a new image.
This is Peanut's card. She worked on it for Daddy. She likes Promarkers. Actually, she likes any markers. She chose to cut the image in a circle and picked out the sparkly things she likes. She does her own glitter now. We're working on little dots of glitter, but she's doing really well spreading it out over her design.

Happy Scrapping!

Moose Kisses Card

(3 of 4) I won this stamp from Lacey at the ABC Christmas Challenge blog hop. I used a white card base. I took black card stock and tore the bottom to create the horizon line. I added lots of glitter to make snow. The mooses (meese?) are on foam pop-ups to make them stand up a little. I colored them with colored pencils. I added silver glitter to make stars in the night sky. I think this would be a great Christmas card for a hubby to a wife or a wife to a hubby.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Latte Lounge - glitter it up
2. Charisma Cardz #30 - something with a tail
3. Winter Wonderland - no designer paper
4. Polka Doodles #30 - Generic Male or Female
5. Stamp Something - Christmas in July Somethings

Glitterbabe's Challenge #5 - Back to School DT Card

It's time for Glitterbabe's Challenge. This week the theme is Back to School. I had a hard time choosing what to do - so I made 2 cards!

I created this card using my new Back to School printable featuring Rosie the Cheerleader. You'll get the printable in blue and pink in my store at I Did It Creations. In Glitterbug spirit, I added glitter to her skirt and pom-poms.
Glitterbabe also gave us some great images to play with. I used apple with worm and school days. I glittered the worm and added green glitter paper from DCWV. I colored the images with colored pencil. I used the sketch from 365 cards day 147.

Zen Paper Pack

I created this paper pack for the Brownie Scraps Unbaked Challenge. I found a great product at Brownie Scraps - the Pattern Maker Bundle by Snuggle Berry Pie. I've never used actions in PhotoShop Elements before. The directions provided with the product were GREAT! I use a Mac, and often I have to guess at the directions from the Windows directions. The directions provided had Mac specific directions. The papers in the upper left and lower right were created with the Pattern Maker bundle.

This paper pack will be available as a free download until the end of the month. After July 31, it will be available in my store at I Did It Creations.

Edited to remove download link

Card and New Releases

This is a longish post, so settle in and relax. First, I have this cute card to share. The image is Eris by Sew Many Cards and is available as a freebie in the Holiday/Special Occasions challenge on Crafters Digital Art Center. I colored him using watercolor pencils. I addedglitter to make the lights and stars shine. I used a sentiment from my Everyday Sentiments at I Did It Creations.

I have several new releases in my shop at I Did It Creations. I'm featuring two of them - Rosie and Rosie the Cheerleader - here. My loyal readers will remember that I'm planning to offer a digi download-a-day during the month of August. I've got posts planned up 'til the end of the month! These two images won't be available for free download (I can't believe I've done over 30 images!)

Fruit and Flowers

I had an idea for a Christmas present for my Grandma. She likes to send cards, and I thought she might like a box of handmade cards for different occasions so she doesn't have to worry about getting to the store. I told this idea to one of my best friends and he said it was a great idea and he'd like a box for Christmas too! Well, that's two people off my Christmas list.

This is the first card for my Grandma's box. The image is by Fanyella available in the I Did It Creations Store. I won two images from Fanyella at the I Did It Creations Challenge blog.

I colored the image with colored pencils and added some glitter to the flower pot and fruit. The sentiment is from my Everyday Sentiments (It's only $1 at the I Did It Creations Store). I created these printable pages to have sentiments available in my craft room whenever I need them. I was tired of being almost done with cards and not having simple sentiments to put on them. The purple paper is from DCWV's Summer Stack.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
1. Simon Says Stamps - Let's get fruity
2. One Stitch at a Time #22 - Digi Madness

Summer Vacation Frame

I cleaned up my craft room today. I don't think it's been this clean in YEARS! I can actually see the floor. It took me all morning, but I really feel like I accomplished something.

I really liked the woven frame in Cardmaking and Papercraft. However, it was late last night and I wasn't making any trips to the store, so I made the frame out of white cardstock. The woven strips are from two different double sided papers by Chatterbox. The flower stamp was a freebie with Cardmaking and Papercraft. The message stamp is from Cloud 9. I added glitter to the center of the flowers.

The picture is of my sister on our recent trip to Paris. I thought this might make a nice gift to remember our trip.

I'm entering this frame in the following challenges:
2. I Did It Forum - Summer themed challenge - the challenge doesn't close until 20 July, so there's still time to enter
3. The Latte Lounge July Challenge - anything but a card with a summer theme
5. Allsorts #61 - summer days

Glitterbabe's Challenge DT Card

It's time for another sparkling challenge at Glitterbabe's Challenge! This week it's a color challenge - orange, turquoise, and pink. I used this great baby chick image from Glitterbabe and word art from Raindrop Echo Designs. The pink flower paper is this week's freebie from Glitterbabe and the orange paper is from my stash. Since Glitterbabe's Challenge is all about the sparkle and the bling, I added a rhinestone accent. It's hard to see the rhinestone colors, but they're alternating orange, turquoise, and pink.

Cupcake Card + Flip Flop Card + Good News

I've uploaded several of my digistamps to my new store at I Did It Creations. I'll be uploading all week - check it out!

This cute cupcake image and the word art is available as a freebie at The Treehouse Monthly Challenge. I colored it using watercolor pencils. The plaid paper and cupcake paper are from DCWV's Sweet Stack and the green glitter paper is from the glitter mat stack.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
2. Crafty Creations #74 - Ice Cream and cake
3. Friday Sketchers - sketch

I have two cards for today. Again, the flip flops and the word art are a great freebie available from Deedee's Digis. Since I live in flip flops every weekend (all year round), this really appealed to me. I used a banner cut from the DCWV Sweet Stack. The other papers and ribbon are from my stash.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
1. Deedee's digis - turquoise, pink and green
2. Stampavie #101 - sparkling
3. Crafts 4 Eternity - recipe - sketch, stripes, bunting - I'm not sure what bunting is on a card, so I'm hoping my banner counts. The pink paper behind the flip flops has stripes on it.

YEAH! My red, white and blue firecracker card was a runner up at Sew Many Challenges. I'm so excited!
