This Week in Digi Scrap #1

Hello all! I thought I'd try something new this week and post my digital scrapbooking layouts in one post to share. I've been doing a lot of digi scrapping recently, but I haven't been sharing the layouts on my blog. Let's see how it goes!

This one is for a challenge at Scrap Matters to use at least one product from every designer in the store:

WooHoo!

I've been asked to joing Meredith Cardall's creative team. For my card making friends, a digital scrapbooking creative team (CT) is the same as a cardmaking design team (DT). Meredith asked me to join her hybrid team, which means using digital scrapbooking products to papercraft. You can guess that this is right up my alley :)

For my project today, I made four 3"x3" cards and a matching holder box. I created the templates in Photoshop. This box and cards features Meredith's Patchwork of My Life papers and elements. It was so easy to create the box lid by placing the digi elements. The cards have stamps from Adam Prescott that were a freebie with Cardmaking and Papercraft. I added a few embellishments and they were good to go!

I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:
1. Fab 'n Funky #84 - Friendship
2. Stamp, Scrap, and Doodle - Friendship

Pink at Make It Crafty

This week at Make It Crafty the challenge is coloring with pink. Our sponsor this week is Bunny Zoe's Crafts and she's giving away a £10 gift certificate to the lucky winner.

Here's my card for this challenge. I used Zoe Celebrates from Make It Crafty. I printed her on Make It Colour Paper and colored her with Copics. I dug out lace, ric rac and flowers from my stash to put together my pink and brown card.
Pink: R81, R83, R85
Brown: E44, E47, E49
Skin: E00, E01, E11, R20

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. IC Sketches #125 - sketch
2. Craft Us Crazy #14 - anything in August

Little Miss Muffet Challenge Guest Designer!

I'm so excited to be a Guest DT member for Little Miss Muffet Challenge this month! I love these sweet digi stamps, and I'm glad I'm getting to play with them.

Today's Challenge is outide the die cut. I chose Nutmeg to play with - I have a monkey just like that from my childhood. This challenge really pushed me because I hadn't tried to have an image extend outside of the die cut before. I'll be honest, I traced the Nestability die with a pencil around the image and cut it out by hand : ) I just wasn't brave enough to try and send it though my Big Shot. Nutmeg is printed on Make It Colour paper and colored with Copics.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
2. Crafts and Me #46 - anything goes
3. Gingersnap Creations #113 - babes and tots
4. Truly Scrumptious #62 - buttons and bows

Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming. So far, I've posted every day this week, can you believe it? I love this Indian Tilda and I thought she'd be perfect to experiment a little more with skin colors. I used E11, E13, and E17 for her skin and I love the color. She's stamped on Make It Colour paper.

For embellishment, I used Butterfly Swirls from Make It Crafty and covered much of the chipboard with orange Stickels. I added flowers, ribbon, and buttons.

1. Just Magnolia #117 - buttons, bows, and blooms
2. Magnolia Down Under #107 - Bingo! - ribbon, sparkles, and chipboard

Thank You Card

I haven't made a thank you card in quite a while. I love Cuddle Anya from The Greeting Farm. I stamped her on Make It Colour paper and colored her with Copics. I got my Big Shot out of the drawer and played with my thank you embossing folder and a Nestability die cut. I thought it would be fun to wrap fancy purple fibers around the die cut to make a flower.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Farm Fresh Friday - Gratuity Please
2. Anyone for Anya - no designer paper
