Mermaid Card

This great mermaid image by Fanyella is available as a freebie at I Did it Creations Challenge Blog. They have great blog candy this week as well!

I colored the image using watercolor pencils. I added pearls to the seaweed and glitter to the mermaid's tail. I used an embossed card (with dots). It's hard to see the embossing. Finally, I added some sparkly ribbon and a pink starfish button.

Little Joey Card

One of my favorite things about the I Did It Creations Challenge is the digistamp freebies with each challenge. This week it's Little Joey from Trees Award.

I colored the image using my watercolor pencils. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. The paper is Chatterbox Inc Scrapbook Walls Olive Plaid. It's a two sided paper.

I Did It Creations Challenge - Sketch Challenge (#7)

I won the challenge at I Did It Creations Challenge last week. I'm really excited - this is the first time I've won. I got to pick two digistamps from Glitterbabe (stay tuned for one of the images). Thanks to the I Did It Creations Team!

I added some beach themed buttons to the picture and colored in sand and sky as a background to the image.

I Did It Creations Challenge - Favorite Embellishment

I really loved the beautiful fairy image that Glitterbabe shared on the I Did It Creations challenge blog. The challenge this week was using your favorite embellishment. I'm new to making cards, so my favorite embellishment is things that are easy. I found these cute stick-on gems in the dollar bin at Michael's today - it doesn't get much easier than that. I colored the image with my new 50 pack of colored pencils.
