I hope everyone has had a nice day after Christmas. I went shopping with my sister. DH got me a Big Shot for Christmas, but no dies or embossing folders to go with it! So, I headed out to Michael's to get a few to try it out. I think this my first non-Christmas card in a while. I chose a Magnolia stamp. I've been wanting to practice coloring with my Copics. I watched several YouTube videos by Suzanne Dean as I was making this card.
I used both of the new things I bought for my Big Shot - a flower die and the tropical paisley embossing folder. I embossed orange cardstock and then took gold glitter chalk and rubbed it over the raised surfaces. I added gold glitter to outline many portions of the card.
The Bazzill chipboard was a free gift with a recent purchase at the Outlaw Women's Scrapbook Emporium.
