Sweet Card for a Sweet Girl

Hi all!  Before I get started, don't forget to enter the Crafter's Companion Giveaway on my blog.

Today, I'm sharing a new card on the Crafter's Companion Information Blog.  I love the S.W.A.L.K. stamps for practicing coloring!  They have large areas where you can really practice blending and shading.  My card for today features Sweet Little Girl from the new S.W.A.L.K. collection.

I colored her using Spectrum Noirs on ultrasmooth premium white cardstock.  Here's my coloring cheat sheet.  I like taking pictures of the colors I use with the image so I have something to refer back to later even if I use the image for a project.

When I finished my coloring, I chose soft pink papers from my stash and mounted the image and the papers with light green cardstock to pull out the colors from my image.

Baby Humphrey and New Winner of Scavenger Hunt Blog Hop!

I'm excited to share a flower card with you today.  I thought the new Welcome Little One Humphrey set would be perfect for this challenge.  It's easy to make a flower themed card when you start with an image that has flowers.

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir markers on ultrasmooth premium cardstock.  I decorated the card with papers from my stash and a big cream flower.

The Humphrey sets are perfect for decorating the inside of the card too.  I used the sentiment and flower from Welcome Little One set to decorate the inside.

MIC Coloring Rainbows

This week's challenge at Make It Colourful is colouring rainbows.  I wanted to make a REALLY bright card with saturated colors.  I think I achieved it :-)  I colored the rainbow and then used the same colors on the other elements in the image.  I think Fifi looks really happy playing in the Rainbow Dandelion meadow.
