Strawberries and Cream Christmas

This great image is available as a freebie from Anne Bodil. I was inspired by the Strawberries and Cream challenges that are happening this week. I colored her with my watercolor pencils and added some Stickles. I added a Merry Christmas stamp that I had in my stash.

The cream and pink sparkly paper is from Walter Knabe - Sonata. I used some cream paper lace an pink flower paper that I found in my stash. I added a dark pink organdy ribbon.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
1. Truly Scrumptious #35 - sketch and strawberries and cream
2. Simon Says Challenge - friends - I think the little girl and the puppy are the best of friends
3. Cupcake Craft Challenge #96 - strawberries and cream
4. Winter Wonderland - strawberries and cream
5. Secret Crafter #89 - strawberries and cream

UPDATE - this card won at Winter Wonderland.

Cupcake Thank You

I fell in love with these cute cupcake stamps by The Crafty Pad. I think they scream for pink and glitter! The cupcake and the "Thank You" are part of the stamp set. The gingham paper is from Creative Memories. The flower paper is the freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft. The flowers are from Dress it Up's Dragonflies and Ladybugs. The pearls and blue paper are from my stash.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
1. The Crafty Pad #74 - pearls and swirls
2. Simon Says - 1 image, 2 patterned papers, 3 types of embellishments - I used 1 image from The Craft Pad, I used two patterned papers and a contrasting paper to make the card and outline the image. I used 3 embellishments - ribbon, rhinestone flowers, and pearls.
3. Truly Scrumptious #34 - the sketch with optional gingham

Fishy Cards

I spent the afternoon making cards for fun and challenges. A delightful way to spend a holiday afternoon after a morning watching Peanut playing in a fountain.

This card is made using Create with TLC's "Fish Out of Water" mini kit - I love the cute fish and the great plaid paper. I colored the fish with colored pencils and finished it with glitter glue. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the fish is raised off the card for a 3D effect.

I used the sketch from Truly Scrumptious Challenges this week.
