Walk with Me Card

This is a new digistamp that I created called "Walk with Me." I drew it thinking of my mom and Peanut. This is a birthday card for my mom. The digistamp will be available during my August Digi-a-Day Downloads (stay tuned!).

I used the recipe #36 from crafts 4 eternity for this card. The recipe included a sketch and required the use of flowers and a flourish. I wasn't sure what a flourish was, but I figured it out from the great DT cards. I didn't have any punches or templates to make one, but I was able to cut one out of silver Christmas ribbon.

I'm also entering this in the Charisma Cardz Challenge #22 flowers and Pixie Dust Studios Challenge #25 Punch it Out! I used a flower punch to create these blue and white vellum flowers with a sparkly brad center. Peanut helped with the flowers. She liked using the hammer to punch holes!

UPDATE - This card placed in the top 3 at crafts 4 eternity!

Penguin Lights - ABC Christmas Challenge

When I saw this week's challenge at ABC Christmas Challenge - L is for Lights, I immediately thought of penguins and strings of lights. I drew this penguin and the lights to make the card. I wanted to go for some funky colors.

So, this is my last post for tonight. I saved it 'til last because I made the digistamps myself. Normally, I would share the stamps with you right away. However, August is a big month for me (birthday and anniversary). I'm going to try to give away a digistamp every day during August. So, I'm going to save up my new digistamps for a fun month of daily downloads.

Happy Father's Day

I love this image from Sew Many Cards. It reminds me of the time Peanut dressed up in Daddy's pants. I don't know how she got them on, but it was too cute!

This is my entry for the Sew Many Challenges #16 - a Father's Day card without blue! I'm also entering it in the Really Reasonable Ribbon challenge for a masculine card with ribbon. I don't know if this is masculine enough, but it is a card for my hubby for Father's Day.

Save a Tree Town Scrapper Challenge

The challenge this week at The TownScrapper is Save a Tree- using scraps and leftover to reduce, reuse, recycle. I had started this card with the gold paper and cream ribbon, but it didn't work out for the card that I had started it for and it sat on my craft table. The piece of lace is from a different card that didn't work out. I used a purple beaded flower from my stash.

Peanut picked out the puppy stamp (inkadinkado) to put on this card.

Girly Girl - Quirky Crafts Challenge

I promised that if you stayed tuned you see one of the great digistamps - little girl - that I got from Glitterbabe for the I Did It Creations Challenge last week.

This is my entry for the Quirky Crafts Challenge - Girly Girl. I used the little girl stamp twice, so I could have two friends. The quote stamp is from Hero Arts. I used some rose buttons from my stash as accents.

Patriotic Cupcake Card

I had a lot of fun with this free digistamp from Treehouse Stamps. This is my entry for the June Treehouse Stamps challenge and the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #56.

I colored the image with colored pencils and then added glitter. I used red star buttons as accents.

I think this is my third post tonight. I tend to do a lot of my scrapping and posting on the weekends : )

Craftalicious Challenge #1 - New

There's a great new challenge blog - Craftalicious. They're having their first challenge this week along with a fun blog hop. There are great prizes available.

This is my entry in the challenge. It's a NEW baby card. The message inside reads:
Hey diddle diddle, someone new, someone little.

The stamps are from inkadinkado. I used pale pink tulle to make a frame around the stamp and a prima flower accent.
