geniaBeana - Manic Monday at Scrap Matters

Good news, good news! I've been chosen to be on the creative team (design team for my cardmaking friends) for geniaBeana scraps. You can find Val's digi products at Scrap Matters. Mondays are Manic at Scrap Matters - select products are 50%! This week geniaBeana Scraps is featuring Basically Elegant.
I am LOVING this kit! It's beautiful and perfect for my New Year's Eve picture from 2007. I made the picture black and white to blend well with the kit. I was wearing a black dress and shawl, so it wasn't too much of a change.

Bushels of Fun - Meredith Cardall New Release

Meredith has a new kit out today at 9th and Bloom - it's Bushels of Fun!

I created a card using Bushels of Fun, a template from Cards Vol 2: Greetings by WendyBird Designs, and Wild Sprout Dressy Ebony from The Greeting Farm. I put the card together in PSE and then printed it on 110 lb. cardstock. I colored Ebony with Prisma pencils and added some glitter to the hearts.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Digital Tuesday #129 - people images
2. Southern Girls #28 - anything goes

Merry Christmas

I'm loving the new Victorian Christmas images from Tickled Pink Stamps. The challenge this week at TPS Challenges is to rip something. This isn't something I usually do on my cards so I stepped out of my comfort zone to give it a try. I used Lil Victorian Christmas Christina (the glasses win my heart every time) for my card. I colored her with Prisma Pencils and Gamsol.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Tickled Pink stamps #37 - rip something
2. Friday Sketch #1 - sketch by Debra

Coasters!

When I saw this great tutorial for coasters, I had to try it out. Meredith's new kit My Happy Place is just perfect for this project. The Petal Sprites from Make It Crafty have won my heart and I thought they would be great paired with My Happy Place. I used Razi, Pipi, Jojo, and Little Prince Bashful. I colored them with Prisma pencils and Gamsol.
I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:
1. Allsorts #121 - alter/recycle
2. Lollipop Crafts #49 - anything but a card
3. Anything Goes #50 - anything goes
