Two cards and a weekend of crafting

(2nd post) Scroll down to see the winners of the digi paper packs.

Quick notes, my DT call is closed - I'll have an announcement this week! Don't forget my blog candy - see the link on the left.

I have two cards to share tonight. I've spent all weekend crafting and I still have SO much to do for the holidays. I signed up for another project this weekend even though I know I'm REALLY busy. "I'm just the girl who can't say no. I'll jump to volunteer." - name that tune :)

My first card features The Crafty Pad's Snowmen. It's colored with Copics and I used Stickles to make snow. The dark purple paper with snowflakes is from my Snow Fun Digi Paper Pack, and the other two papers are from DCWV. I added some snowflake stickers from Jolee and a sentiment sticker to finish the card.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. The Crafty Pad #100 - anything goes
2. Simon Says - sketch
3. Stampavie #119 - snow
4. AI Factory #59 - winter
5. Sew Many Challenges #34 - snowflakes
6. Wags 'n Whiskers #42 - snowflakes

For my second card tonight, I hopped off the Christmas bandwagon. I used a Michelle Perkett image. My sister actually colored the image. The paper is one of my contributions to the new Stitchy Bear Stamps collab. The collab is free with a $10 purchase at the store!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Michelle Perkett - make your own background papers. I don't know if this counts, but I did make them digitally.
2. Creative Cowgirl #2 - anything goes
4. Party Time Tuesdays #23 - anything goes birthday
5. Fab 'n Funky #51 - Happy Birthday!

The Latte Lounge Christmas Celebration

It's time for the Christmas Celebration at The Latte Lounge! There are going to be challenges, chats, and lots of fun.

I'm sponsoring the Christmas Candy Challenge. Your challenge is to make a project that is inspired by Christmas candy. There's a lot of room for interpretation in this challenge. Make sure you read to the end so you can see the prize - it's yummy!

My first project is an Advent calendar for Peanut. I followed a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. I made the numbers and the sentiment using my Traditional Christmas paper pack. The other papers are from My Mind's Eye. Each tin contains a piece of chocolate - Christmas candy!

If you'd like to make this yourself, I'd be happy to share my numbers and title with you. Just send me an email at jljdesigns at cox dot net.
I'd like to enter the calendar in the following challenges:
1. Lothian Crafts #9 - for someone special - Peanut is very special to me!
2. Stamp with Fun #87 - advent
3. Really Reasonable Ribbon #13 - anything but a card - winter - it's hard to see but there's a beautiful red ribbon with snowflakes holding up the calendar.

My second project is more literal. I used Cherrie with a Candy Cane from Tickled Pink Stamps. I won the Cherrie Christmas digi release in a blog hop - yummy! I made a little folder to hold a paper pad that I got at Michael's. The papers are My Mind's Eye and the stickers are Jolee.

I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:
1. P3 - to do list or organizer
2. Top Tip #12 - anything goes

Finally, Peanut has a card. She's used a digi from The Greeting Farm - two mice with a candy cane. I think all the glitter and jewels she's used remind me of yummy candy too.
So, you've made it to the end and here's the prize. Stickers, ribbons, and papers in the Christmas candy theme. The challenge is open until December 10th.

We hope to see you at the Christmas Celebration at The Latte Lounge!

Blog Candy Winner and IDIC Forum Freebie Challenge - Toucan Scraps

Please scroll down for two digital paper pack candies and the Some Odd Girl blog hop.

Before I show you my project, I have my blog candy winner to announce. The winner is ...
and this is Larisa! Please contact me with your address at jljdesigns at cox dot net by Friday. If I don't hear from you, I will redraw the blog candy.

This week the I Did It Creations Forum Freebie Challenge is sponsored by Toucan Scraps. The freebie is Thank You Puppy. I used Toucan Scraps' Holly and Ivy Digi Papers to make Diaper Fold Pouches. I folded down the top triangle into the pouch to make little "flower pots." The Thank You message fits perfectly in the green flower pot.

I colored the Thank You using Copics and added Stickles to the yellow and orange letters. The plaid background paper is from DCWV and the flowers are from Michaels.
I'd like to enter this project in the following challenges:
1. Paper Cutz #69 - anything goes
2. Wags 'n Whiskers #41 - Wrap it up

Happy Crafting!
