Fair warning - this is going to be a long post. Hang in with me 'cause it's definitely worth it.
Welcome to my stop on the Make 'it' Crafty Christmas Blog Hop! You should have come from the fabulous Jane. If you're lost or would like to start the hop, please go to the Make It Colourful blog.

You know that noise when a record stops suddenly, it's playing now. The MIC DT have hijacked the Christmas blog hop to celebrate Zoe's birthday (laughing quietly to myself). We wanted to celebrate Zoe's birthday in style so we have lots of inspiration, prizes, freebies, and even a gallery album to send your birthday greetings to Zoe. This is one hop you don't want to miss and it goes until October 12th!
The general theme for this hop is Christmas and what fun would a hop be without new images? Zoe has released some fabulous new holiday themed images and they are a must on your holiday list. Wait! Here's the best part...you get 15% off ALL the Christmas digis from now until Sunday, October 2nd!!! Click on this link to see them all. Be sure to grab them at this sale price while you can.
Before we get to my Christmas project, Peanut and I have something we want to say...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ZOE!!!!!
Peanut has made this card for Zoe featuring Zoe All Excited from Make it Crafty.

I made a card with Zoe Celebrates from Make It Crafty. I colored her with Prisma pencils. I wanted to make sure I used each color of the rainbow in the image. I'm so thankful to Zoe for my participation on the Make It Colourful team!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:1. Sweet Stampin - anything goes + optional sketch
2. Paper Sundaes #88 - anything goes
We have some surprises in store for you too! Everyone on the hop is giving away BLOG CANDY! You'll have two weeks, until October 12th, to visit each blog in the hop. The winners will be announced Friday, October 14th on the individual blogs. Feel free to grab the badge and display it on your sidebar to spread the word about Zoe's birthday and the blog hop.
We have another surprise for you...This is Party Girl Zoe
We wanted to make sure everyone was included in the celebration and we're giving away Party Girl Zoe as a freebie to everyone who wants to join in and spread some birthday cheer. All you need to do is create a new project using a Make It Crafty image or chippies and upload it into the gallery HERE by October 12th. Then email Barbara at forgottenscraps@gmail.com with a link to your project to claim this sweet digi!
Now for my Christmas project. You can see that I'm in love with the coaster idea. We draw names out of a hat for our family present exchange, and, this year, I drew my aunt who loves Christmas. I thought she would appreciate a set of handmade Christmas items. I'm planning on cards and other items to go with these.
The images are from the new MIC Christmas release - Duffy, Socks, Tinkles and Zippy. The paper and elements are from my Tidings of Christmas digi scrap kit. I did the layouts digitally adding in the digi stamps. I then printed them and colored the images with Prisma pencils.
Finally, a little Christmas treat for you - blog candy! To enter, just leave a comment on this post. The candy is open until October 12th. Winner will be announced October 14th.

Thanks for hanging in there with me! Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Viv.
