Glitterbabe Challenge DT Card and Digi Download a Day #26 - Past Digital Scrapbooking Freebies

It's Glitterbabe Challenge day (make sure to read to the end for today's freebies)!!! This week's theme is Asian and Stef gave us two great images to play with. I made a card using Asia and Peanut made a card using Panda Girl. Here's Peanut's card first. She colored it using Copics. She added a "Map" face from Dora the Explorer, which she aged using Tim Holtz Distress Ink. She loves the sticky backed chipboard Cosmo Cricket shapes that I won from The Latte Lounge. Finally, she chose her current favorite - blue glitter. She's definitely a girl after Stef's heart and believes there cannot be too much sparkle!

Here's my card. I love this sweet image. I colored her using Copics and added glitter glue to the swirls. I used a sticker sentiment - "So much of who we are is where we have been." I'm going to give this card to a co-worker who is leaving us tomorrow. The paper, which was in a pack from GCD Studio that I won from The Latte Lounge, is two sided and has a beautiful pearlescence to it. I added blue prima flowers and sparkly blue flower stickers.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
1. Wild Orchid #3 - Make it Sparkle
2. Cupcake Challenge #105 - Blue and Green

Welcome to Day 26! August is a special month for me - both my birthday and my wedding anniversary. I'm hoping to create a digistamp for download every day this month. Become a follower to make sure you don't miss a single day. Each download will be available for free for 24 hours. If you miss the free download, you can purchase the digistamp in my store at I Did It Creations.

Today is a little bit different. We're over 3/4 of the way through the month! I decided to pull together all of the digital scrapbooking freebies that I've offered on my blog since I started it back in January. I've noticed that the downloads have tapered off after the initial offerings.

2 beautiful cards Jennifer, the colour combo on your card looks fab and Peanut is just a natural like her Mum. I love handmade cards I have never bought a card from my kids they have always made there own starting with hand prints on an A4 piece of paper folded into a card. We have a wall full of 'art' we are not allowed to take down not to mention all the boxes full of stuff. :-) xx

Thank you for the freebie minikits. It has taken me all day but I've finally finished downloading. I wanted to try digital scrapbooking and these kits will give me the chance. I can also see me using the gorgeous backing papers on lots of my cards. :-) xx
